My Story
I have had a varied career
Having worked both as a GP partner and as a locum GP. I currently work as a GP in the Out of Hours service for Greater Glasgow and Clyde, and also do some GP Locum work in my previous practice and a small number of other practices.
I am a Communication Skills tutor at the University of Glasgow, and have also been a GP appraiser for eight years. I enjoy variety in my clinical work, and opened the Craigpark Clinic in January 2024, and plan to continue with my NHS and university work on a part-time basis.
About Me
I enjoy medical education, and recognise the need for life-long learning.
I am undertaking a Diploma in Dermatology which is accredited by the Royal College of Physicians in Ireland. I am also undertaking a course, “Principles and practices of travel vaccinations”, which is run by the Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine. Both of these will enhance the services I am able to offer at the Craigpark Clinic. I have undertaken training in botulinum toxin and fillers with Inspired Cosmetic Training in 2023, and look forward to undertaking more advanced training in the use of Botulinum toxin and dermal fillers in 2024. I have also undertaken training in the use of ND Yag laser, and IPL treatments, and have undertaken the mandatory training in the use of Medical Lasers. I plan to undertake Advanced IPL training in 2024
Safety is of the utmost importance to me, and I have completed learning in the aesthetics complications, having done Dermal filers and Botulinum toxin Complications Mastery courses. I am also a member of CMAC(Complications in Medical aesthetics Collaborative).
I am keen to provide a high quality, bespoke service for my clients, and only use high quality products and equipment in the clinic.
